As the lead graphic designer and website builder for Country Hills Golf Club, I was tasked with transforming their online presence to reflect the luxury and prestige of their club. The challenge was to create a fresh, upscale look that not only highlighted the beauty of their golf courses but also communicated the exclusive value of their memberships. I enjoyed the process of elevating the site’s aesthetic, bringing a refined, elegant style to an industry that's well-established in Alberta. It was exciting to give such a high-profile club a modern, luxurious digital makeover.
For Refined Custom Jewellers, I took on the role of both lead designer and project manager, ensuring that the client’s vision came to life. The website needed to reflect the elegance and craftsmanship of their custom jewelry while emphasizing its affordability. While the project took time, it was worth every moment, as I aimed to showcase the beauty of each piece created by the owner. I’m incredibly proud of the final result, which strikes a perfect balance between luxury and accessibility.
As the project manager and lead graphic designer for Resource Employment Solutions, I was responsible for creating a website that seamlessly integrated their custom staffing platform. One of the main challenges was ensuring that the platform looked and functioned like an integral part of the website, rather than a separate tool, but with the help of my team, we accomplished this smoothly. Working with the RES owners was a fantastic experience—they gave me the creative freedom to shape their online presence, and I’m proud of the polished, cohesive final product.
For The Bell in Scona Brewery, I was tasked with rebranding their online presence, where I worked as the lead designer. The goal was to separate their brewery business from their event space while maintaining a cohesive brand identity. This rebrand involved crafting a bold, male-driven aesthetic that better suited the brewery’s audience and supported their B2B sales strategy. I enjoyed blending Alberta's history and multicultural essence into the design, which gave me the creative freedom to showcase my vision.
As the lead designer for E3 Aerospace, a flight simulator training company, I took inspiration from the simple paper airplane in their logo to create a cohesive design across all visuals. The project was smooth from start to finish, and it was exciting to dive into a field I wasn’t familiar with before. Bringing everything together—using that playful yet professional paper airplane motif—was incredibly rewarding, and I’m proud of how seamlessly the design captures the spirit of the company.
In my role as lead designer and project manager for The Voice of Women Podcast, I was dedicated to creating a platform that celebrates powerful, independent women by showcasing their stories, expertise, and successes. One challenge was integrating a feature that allowed listeners to access all podcast episodes directly on the website. While it was time-consuming, the effort was well worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the episodes during the design process, and now I’m an avid listener myself. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a project that amplifies such important voices.
I joined the Tanya Eklund Group project as a graphic designer in a team of three, stepping in after the previous designer left. The challenge was picking up where the project had been left off, understanding the initial vision, and bringing it to completion. However, working closely with the team, we developed a fresh, cohesive look that better aligned with Tanya Eklund’s high-end real estate brand. It was a rewarding experience seeing how the final design captured the luxury and prestige that Tanya’s business embodies.
For Jensen Fitness, I was tasked with porting their website from an older CMS version to a new one, while updating the design to better reflect their brand. We aimed for a sleek yet rugged look that perfectly aligned with the personal training and fitness industry. The project was smooth and quick, and I enjoyed diving into a new industry that I hadn’t worked on before. The result is a modern, dynamic website that mirrors the strength and professionalism of the Jensen Fitness brand.
Ichor Blood Services was a pioneer in offering mobile and private lab COVID-19 testing during the pandemic. I designed and developed the website to appeal to clients seeking convenient, at-home testing services. The project was slightly challenging since this type of business was new at the time, but it was rewarding to see how innovative ideas can turn into successful businesses. It felt great to be part of something that contributed to people feeling safer during such uncertain times.
Coffee Lady Company offers full-service coffee and beverage solutions to hospitality businesses, offices, and private clients across Calgary and surrounding areas. As the lead designer, I crafted a website that acts as a storefront but without direct purchases—clients discuss next steps with the owner before finalizing orders. This presented a unique challenge, but it was exciting to incorporate bold, eye-catching designs that set the website apart in a competitive market. It was a creative and fulfilling project.
I believe everyone has a unique “Wonderland” inside them – a philosophy inspired by Alice in Wonderland – which I infuse into my work by embracing the weird and unexpected. No matter what I create, I’m always pushing the boundaries of design, exploring new possibilities with every project.
